Autumn Course
Philosophy pic1For many years Stradbroke has presented a variety of successful WEA courses and we are pleased to offer another stimulating and entertaining opportunity this September.
Adventures in Philosophy is open to all and will consist of 7 weekly 2 hour sessions (with a half-term break) introducing the essential areas of some of the major philosophers whose ideas have shaped Western thought and society. You do not need any prior knowledge of Philosophy as the tutor will be taking us through the topic in a lively and interactive way with plenty of discussion and argument.
The course begins on Monday, September 19th at 10.15 in the Community Centre.

The cost for the full course is £49.00 (free if in receipt of income related benefit) and you can enrol by:
* using the WEA freephone number – 0800 328 1060 Monday – Friday 10.00am -3.00pm. Here you will be serviced by experienced WEA staff
* on-line enrolment via wea.org.uk/courses
* enrol manually at the first session
If you would like to have a taster before enrolling please come along to the first session before making up your mind.
Full details of all WEA courses can be found on their website www.wea.org.uk/eastern and I would be very happy to answer any queries you may have about the Stradbroke course or enrolment.
We are a very friendly group and always welcome new members so look forward to seeing you.
