Stradbroke Allotments are a purpose built site situated on the edge of the village.  Surrounded by rabbit proof fencing and edible hedging and on a North/South slope, we are ideally situated.  We have the advantage of running water, although water butts are recommended if you have a shed on your plot to save water.  We also have a composting toilet, raised beds and a community shed selling a small range of products for members of our association.  We have various fund raising events throughout the year, for the maintainence of the site and we are also saving for a polytunnel.   We plan to have an allotment open day in the summer, cake, plant and produce sales a couple of times a year and a wonderful quiz with a light supper included.  The site is owned by the Stradbroke Charitable Trust and managed by the Stradbroke Allotment and Gardeners' Association.  There is a small fee for membership.
