Stradbroke Sports & Community Centre is privileged to have a large screen, a high quality laser projector and surround sound system. This enables us to show high-definition quality films in the comfort of our own village and without travelling to one of the larger cinema studios further afield. Once a month we offer a recent or award winning movie for view to the public.

The bar is open from 7.00pm and again during the interval when ice creams are also available. Tickets are £6.00 each for adults and £3.50 for 16s and under. Please buy tickets online if you can, just go to the ‘But Tickets Here’ link by the film below for the option to buy online.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep of the Community Centre. If you would like to suggest films for the future or help as a volunteer please contact Jane Merritt (01379 388382) or email [email protected]

Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) is a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt)—goes missing.

While the film’s ruthless producer (Hannah Waddingham), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
