Do you need help with a problem?
You can now access CAB confidentially at The Bank, Eye.
From 15th January 2021, Citizens Advice will be providing a pop-up advice service for anyone in the area in and around Eye. The service will run on Wednesdays.
One can book an appointment and then speak to us by a very simple video call in a private room.
Citizens Advice gives free, independent and confidential advice. We will provide a tablet for the video call, so you don’t need your own computer. You don’t need to be tech savvy to use this service – it’s as easy as picking up a telephone.
Here are some examples of how we can help people:
- Benefits
- Employment Advice, Employment rights, redundancy, job seeking.
- Money Advice & Debt.
- Family & Relationship issues – separation and divorce, maintenance and child support, parents’ rights and responsibilities, what to do when someone dies; wills and probate.
- Housing – rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants, tenancies, housing benefit, rent problems, advice on eviction and disputes with neighbours.
“We want local people to know that you can turn to us. You can book a time to come to the pop-up advice service at The Bank, or phone us if you need advice right away.”
Simon Clifton, Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Mid-Suffolk
