The setting is now 1927 with all our favourites from the television series including the redoubtable Maggie Smith and her waspish comments. King George V and Queen Mary are to visit for a night and this allows for the fun to begin with warring sets of servants downstairs to match the battles between cousins upstairs. Throw in some missing ornaments and a mysterious fellow taking a room at the pub and all the ingredients are there for an extended episode with plots and sub-plots, royalism, homosexuality and general sumptuousness for us to wallow in.
Door open at 7pm. Licensed bar and ice creams on sale in the interval. Adults £5.50, 16s and under £3.00
