A full-blooded gothic fable, Emily is a sensuous, spine-tingling re-imagining of Emily Bronte’s life. Here Emily is not the sickly recluse but an anti-heroine who is unable to fit in with the ordered world. The swooping score and wide landscapes all add to the intensity of this fever-pitch tale that we think we are so familiar with. An excellent cast including Adrian Dunbar and Emma Mackey star in this film bursting with passion.
