Many thanks to everyone who responded to the community engagement exercise and completed the online survey or attended either of the 2 open days. The was overwhelming support (95%) for the idea and over two thirds favoured the 2 storey option. A special thank you to those that volunteered to help with the project – we will be in touch as we progress. The Committee have now had a chance to review all the responses and agreed to move the project to the next stage towards appointing architects. There is a long way to go, not least in raising the finance but with concerted community effort we can succeed. Updates will be published on the website and in the newsletter.
